Ashleigh Steel

Based in Sydney’s ever so inspiring suburbs of the Inner West, young, enthusiastic Designer Ashleigh Steel has been creating, imagining, doodling and inventing ever since she popped out of her mum 21 years ago.

She is currently working hard at a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication at the University of Technology Sydney while working part time as a Signwriter, freelance Graphic Designer/Illustrator and creator of her own zines, cards and bits n bobs.

Ash joined the 'Five Point Five' team at FBi in early 2010 and has worked most prominently on the visual identity for the Sydney Sounds Like fundraiser gigs.

Ash is particularly inspired by typography, found objects, using her hands and the uncertain, imperfect parts of our world.
