Bek Ryan

Hello. My name is Bek. I am a designer and illustrator. I make all kinds of things.

Whilst visual communication constantly evolves with technology, I prefer using my hands to create. I like the warmth and individuality it brings. It is an attempt at reclaiming past methods whilst utilising computers to enhance my work. I illustrate the things I love in life (colour! music! people! food!) and experiment with fabric, cardboard, paper cutouts and glue. Design is universal. It is how we make sense of the world, our life experiences being our partners in crime. My work being a mix of digital and handmade.

Having recently graduated from UWS as a Visual Communicator, Bek joined FBi in 2010 to continue her design learning.
